Value of Service: 2,492,250 €
The project Promotion of Economy and Employment – Eco –Emploi is part of the Rwandan-German Development Cooperation’s priority area “Sustainable Economic Development”. The project is implemented in the context of the main Rwandan policies and strategies, in particular the TVET policy (2013/14 to 2017/18), Economic Development and Poverty Reduction Strategy II 2013-2018 (EDPRSII), the National Employment Program (NEP) and Vision 2020. The EcoEmploi program supports the development of the capacities of public and private institutions in order to contribute to sustainable employment. The current EcoEmploi project is starting in June 2016 and will be implemented until May 2019 (3 years). The targeted core problem is that employment-generating measures have not been fully adequately implemented by public or private actors to reach all beneficiaries. Deriving from this the module objective of the current project is that the “selected public and private actors have implemented employment-generating measures”.
