The project has its focus on the promotion of technology-transfer between Brazilian and German small and medium-sized enterprises (SME). Via three sector oriented technology centres of the SENAI network, each with various branches all over the states, linkages between technology providers and technology customers are mutually enhanced. Close cooperation with SEBRAE is sought. The sectors in question are:

  1. Wood- and furniture technology
  2. Environmental technology 
  3. Die- and tool-making technology
  4. Mechatronics

The project supports through extensive networking and promotion activities in Brazil, Chile and Germany. Regular business delegations strengthen the collaboration between public, economic and educational bodies. Visits of fairs are systematically used to enlarge the body of cooperating and contributing firms and institutions and to create a conducive environment for technology transfer and business.

  • Export Promotion for Brazilian and German SMEs;
  • Development of Training courses for middle management staff in SMEs;
  • Participation at fairs in Brazil and Europe;
  • Sector oriented study trips;
  • Technical Conferences;
  • Further training of technical experts and teachers in Germany, Chile and Brazil;
  • Advisory assistance to small and medium-sized enterprises concerning technical and economical questions.
